Event Info

The Catalyst Games are founded and produced by the team at Fortitude Fitness - CrossFit 78702. In 2015, the gym decided to host the first ever mock-CrossFit Games competition complete with a 2 mile paddle on Lady Bird Lake followed by a 2 mile run at Austin High, and that was just day one. The following two days were filled with epic WOD recreations, PR lifts, torture on aerodynes and rope climbs, and countless memories for athletes and spectators. 

In its second year, the format will be switched to team-based WODs, with a goal of bringing over 200 athletes together for this EPIC adventure.

MF pairs will alternate reps for Toes-to-bar and Handstand Push-ups. The partner must be in the hanging position for the other partner’s rep to count in the toes-to-bar. The partner must be in the extended inverted position for the other partner’s rep to count for the handstand push-up.
